Product Information

With internal parts EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated and polished for consistency, these triggers are manufactured with great care and attention to detail in order to provide the end user with a smooth, positive break. Triggers are fully adjustable for both sear engagement and weight. Triggers for use in pre-2006 guns use the factory safety, while those for post-2006 guns (using Remington's X-Mark Pro trigger) include a new right-hand safety and bolt release.

Technical Information

Important: Use existing pins to reinstall the trigger. There are no new pins, nor are they required.

Gunsmithing may be required

This trigger does not fit the Remington 722.

The Rifle Basix is an excellent Trigger. It was easy to install and adjust. It is a "Drop In" and all parts fit without any Gunsmithing. The pull is extremely crisp with no Creep. The workmanship and quality of the Rifle Basix Trigger is outstanding and I am very pleased with it and would recommend one to anyone who wants an extremely smooth Trigger for a Remington Model 700 Varmint rifle.

When pull weight was adjusted below 18 oz the trigger I received would allow the firing pin to fall when the bolt was closed quickly. At 8 oz the rifle would not cock when closed slowly. Rifle basics has agreed to replace the LV-1 with a ERV-3.

I've had Timney triggers on some guns, but this trigger is by far the best trigger I have ever shot with. My freinds who have shot this rifle also feel it's great.

This is a very well made trigger with a nice, crisp let-off. It has too much slop after the sear breaks and needs less over-travel. Very good product for the price, though.

This trigger installed easily without any issues. It has almost no take-up or creep and breaks cleanly. Highly recommended for a really good trigger at a really good price.

Great trigger for 700 REM. Drop in with no modification or problem. Very crisp, and safety worked with no problem. Improvement over factory or gunsmith modified trigger. Crisp 8oz. pull from box.

I found this trigger to be of the highest quality. Extremely crisp and easy to adjust, a drastic improvement over the stock "adjustable" trigger assy. Installation was enjoyable."TIP"...keep your finger on the "Bolt Release Spring" when removing the rear pin from origional trigger assy, this spring will fly out into the great unknown "BOING". You wont regret buying this trigger you'll only regret not buying it! Thanks Midway.

Drop in part that fits ...

Drop in part that fits original hanger but trigger itself is a bit wider than Rem factory. Once set up broke clean at 10 oz from the factory with no creep or other bad habits. Trigger is adj for over-travel so I do not know why this is a concern with some? For 100 bucks and change this trigger is better than rebuilds of the Remington trigger system. In my humble opinion, I would rate it real close to a Jewel I have on another gun and this trigger was 100 bucks less.
