The Fenix E40 Flashlight is an excellent choice for campers, 4-wheelers, or Scouts . The E40's multi-function, high-output LED allows users to choose between multiple output and runtime options. The light runs on four AA-Cell Alkaline batteries and puts out an impressive 220 lumens. The Cree XP-E LED has a 50,000 hour lifetime and is highly impact resistant. The high impact polymer body is flattened for a compact profile and comfortable grip. The E40 features a large smooth reflector that projects a tight, even beam up to 284 meters while still offering lots of spill to illuminate a large area.

The Fenix E40 utilizes a dual button rear switch configuration with the power switch and mode switch next to one another on the tailcap of the light. This is a very user-friendly configuration, allowing users to change between the four modes when using the light. Additionally, the E40 features: momentary on, high-efficiency circuitry to maximize brightness, and an intelligent memory circuit which always turns the light on the mode it was last in.
