Dropped right into my Springfield Armory 1911 (with the "N" serial# in two pistols). However would not drop into my Springer with the "NM" ser# -- the slot in the slide stop would have to be widened to allow the slide to move.This part is cast. There are some very small casting marks which I removed with a stone. The pin measured .199" and is at 90 degrees. The arm of the slide stop didn't leave any scratches on the frame which I really like. Took my gun shooting and functioning was 100% perfect with my 7-round mags. This is a very good slide stop and the price is amazingly affordable. I will be buying another one for my parts box.

Got this to replace a worn one (10,000 rounds +) in my competition pistol. Dropped right in (barely) and cured the fail-to-slide lock- issue straight away. Good choice for the cost. Be aware that it probably would require minor fitting in a pistol with fewer miles on it.

I had to widen the gap where the slide stop grabs the slide because the operation was EXTREMELY stiff and wouldn't operate properly without some filing. Once that was done, it worked great and added a wonderful accent to my Taurus PT1911.
