The Vortex Viper PST (Precision Shooting Tactical) Rifle Scope comes with features that are typically only included on scopes in a much higher price range. The optics are fully multi-coated and deliver beautiful detail and color while transmitting 95% of available light. The tactical turrets have audible clicks which allow for precise adjustments to windage and elevation and the tube is purged with Argon gas to eliminate internal fogging and extend the life of the optics. Protective lens covers and a lifetime factory warranty are included.

Absolutely wonderful optic! This thing sits proud on top of my SPS Tactical .308. Turrets are very accurate; tested at 300 yards, the POI moves exactly where you tell it to. At 300, a MIL is 10.8"... doped the scope .8 MIL, and my POI moved 8.62" according to OnTarget software analysis of my groups. This is either incredible luck.. or an incredible scope... I prefer to think it's both (and some killer hand loads). I love the feel of the turrets, the clarity, the repeatability, and the magnification range. 4 is plenty for minute of deer.. 16 is more than enough for MOA shooting. NOTE: with a single piece picatinny rail and Burris XTR Low rings, the objective bell clears the heavy barrel contour of the Remington by about 1/4". Brilliant!!

This is a great scope. Clear optics, nice positive clicks on the adjustments, zero return feature, and more. Lots of features that are usually found on optics at twice the price of this unit. Get these optics while you still can at this price.

This is an amazing scope for the price. There is no other scope that can compete in its class. A sub-$1,000 scope with features like 1st focal plane, illuminated reticle, adjustable parallax, fast focus eyepiece, MRAD adjustment and reticle, and zero stop. Thanks to the MRAD reticle/adjustments I was dialed in at 50 yards in two shots. Same day I was hitting the 400 yard plates easy. The furthest targets at my range are 600 yards and with this scope they are super clear. I suppose I don't even need to mention it has stood up to .308 easily. The dials adjust very crisply and precisely. I would have stepped up to the 6-24x which is actually said to have slightly better glass but this was the only one I could find in stock and this one is excellent. In fact I don't think I need the extra magnification.

Top notch scope! The positive feel of the adjustments are great and the reticle is great, not a lot of extra markings, yet enough to be able to quickly find what you're looking for. Very clear glass! Targets are clearly visible even at 1,000 yards. Put your apprehensions aside and jump on a great scope.

I was apprehensive about spending so much on a scope, but after using this scope on my new AR build, I can say that when it comes to scopes, you get what you pay for! I was using this scope at dusk and it was so bright that I wasn't even aware how dark it was getting. The adjustments on this scope are great. They need a firm twist to move them, yet they move easily and positively. I found that the 1/10 mil adjustments made it possible to get sighted in with a minimum of shots. I didn't have a boresighter to get the scope lined up initially, but once I saw a bullet impact, I was two shots away from being close to the X ring. The illuminated reticle is almost useless here in Arizona unless you're shooting in low light conditions that are probably illegal for hunting, but if you're using this scope in a tactical situation, the illumination will definitely come in handy.
