Product Information

Tru Ivory is a durable, polymer ivory substitute works great for knife handles. The polymer material shapes easily, is waterproof and resistant to most chemicals and dyes. Perfect for custom knife making, these blanks are not drilled or shaped.

Technical Information

Notes:
  • Not affected by water
  • Most of the grips are available in white, aged and antique
  • Tru Ivory may be fitted using sandpaper and small cutting tools.
  • Grips do not come with any hardware.

    Manufacturer recommendations:
  • Always remove grips prior to using any cleaner. Most solvents have no ill effect on the grips but some bore cleaners can harm them.
  • Remove any oil from the grips to prevent slippage. A clean damp towel with mild soap will do this.
  • Use alcohol, fingernail polish remover (acetone or non-acetone type) or mineral spirits to remove any ink marks should they occur.
  • Do not pry the grips off.
  • Do not overtighten the grip screw(s).
  • Do not bang the grips against a hard surface.
  • Do not expose the grips for a prolonged period to solvents such as Dunk It or any parts cleaner.

    Knife Scale Blanks are not drilled or shaped and do not include any fasteners.
