I knew exactly what I was ...

I knew exactly what I was getting with the TwistMount and I couldn't be happier. I wanted the ability to remove the magnifier (not just flip it to the side) when I don't need it. I also choose it because there is a TwistMount ring for PVS-14 night vision units. I like being able to switch between using the RDS alone, with the magnifier, or with a PVS-14 within seconds. This mount is very well made. Attaching and detaching the ring is very quick and easy. If you want a flip mount, get a flip mount. If you're like me and prefer a quick detach mount, this is a great choice. I'm very happy with mine.

This is a great product, ...

This is a great product, do not listen to the other review. Buy some lens covers if you are worried about scratching your lens when not attached. Do not fire your rifle with it rotated 90 degrees. This is a tactical product, you can get more bases to put on other rifles so you can quick change your magnifier (if you only have one) between weapons without unscrewing the base.
