"African Game Trails" Book by Theodore Roosevelt
The twenty-sixth president of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919) was a historian and a naturalist. In 1906, he was the first American to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, a result of the treaty that ended the Russo-Japanese War. Roosevelt was also concerned about preserving our hunting heritage. Because of this, he founded the Boone and Crockett Club in 1887. He's also published over 30 books dedicated to the history and hunting. President Roosevelt died in 1919 of a coronary embolism.
