This is some of the best ammo I have found for my Glock 20C. I was happy to see that their ballistics were acquired using the Glock 20. I have fired 100 rounds and have never had a jam. It is also very accurate. I plan on using the 200 gr. Double Tap ammo for whitetail deer hunting this fall.

So far customer service has been OK, but serious problems exist. Cases bulge just forward of rim, which makes it impossible to extract from my S&W 310NG, w/o tapping them out with rod and hammer. Tried it in my Glock 20, and cases are splitting at the same place. The bulges are actual cracks that look like the rear end of the case is about to separate from the rest of the brass. I would have waited to comment, but Double Tap has been slow to respond to the problem. They sent me new ammo, but the problem persists. I have sent the old ammo back, and received replacements, but the new ammo they sent me has the same problem. I am sending the cracked cases back tomorrow. This is a potentially unsafe situation that needs to be addressed.

With 30 years shooting and repairing 1911's, M14's, M16's and other various Pistols and Rifles. The ammo works and hits with excellent speed, expansion, and penetration. I've read other comments about bulging, cracks, and so called worries of endangerment by this round. If you experience any of these issues with this ammo, PLEASE, take your 10mm to a good gunsmith with a strong background in the 10mm's. I have seen this same issue in many 10mm's. Problem has almost always been a over polished feed ramp. If a 10 has feeding or jamming issues don't have anyone polish the feed ramp unless they really know just how dangerous it can be. Case bulging at the rear is almost always because the chamber area has been accidently buffed while addressing a ammo feed issue. Look into getting Wolf springs in various weights to fix feeding issues. Coating your barrel and chamber with many of the moly or similar coatings really helps ejection issues. As for stuck rounds in chambers, a suggestion, check for tool markings in the chamber. Hot loads in revolvers it is going to stick every time. These are just some kind intended fixes and reasons for some of the casings being blown out. FYI, a primer blown could be a indicator of to much barrel friction. Commonly caused by barrels meant for target purposes by having higher raised rifling. Lapping these barrels can help. Best wishes to all.

Glock 20, Lone wolf fully supported 4.6" barrel. Upon 2nd shot ; Brass severely jamed in barrel. Primer blown out. Case at rim severely budged out. Rim oval, not round. Had to pound out the brass with a wood dowel and hammer from chamber. Very unsafe ammo. I know it happens sometimes, but this is not the first time, also with 200Gr hard cast. Is not worth the chance. Will stick with Hornady. No hard feeling D.T. or Midway.

Shot some this weekend with my new GT10, accuracy was good but velocity was an average 1304 fps. Advertised velocity is 1425 out of a 4.6 inch barrel. Still I think this would be a great personal protection round.

Excellent ammo that's powerful and reliable. Velocity figures are a little overstated on the box though. I chronographed this load out of my Glock 20SF and it averaged 1270 fps. Still a hot load, but not as fast as indicated on the factory box.

This 10mm round uses the Golden Saber bullet and it feeds well and chrono'd just under 1300fps avg from my Glock 29 but recoil felt about the same as my 180 grain FMJ target loads. Just shooting into water jugs penetrated 3-4 jugs and man that Golden Saber bullet is wicked when it expands - like a razor blade on steroids. DoubleTap is all I carry for SD in all my calibers because it gives you the most "bang" for your buck with a top quality choice of loads.

I went on a Hog hunting ...

I went on a Hog hunting excursion with this bullet in a Glock 20. I was trying to seal the deal and only shoot a Hog with this bullet but it didnt happen. I did however finish off a hog with this round and it worked like it should. I will use this round again for future hunts!!
