Hammer hooks are sharp, and perfectly square. Well worth the money. I wish WC would start chamfering these hammers, but oh well. The quality of this hammer looks better than the Stainless Tactical II hammer that I got from C&S.

I put this in my 70 ...

I put this in my 70 series Colt Combat Commander. Item required some minor fitting to give adequate clearance for thumb safety lug to clear. Had to open up the hammer pin hole slightly to get the pin in. Also had to shorten the strut a little to get the holes in the frame and hammer to line up for reassembly. (Due to strut pin hole being a bit closer to the hammer's bottom edge???) All things considered the results were worth the trouble. I had already installed the WC ultralight match trigger about a year ago. I polished the trigger sides to a brilliant finish and did same with the hammer and they look stunning. Best part, the trigger pull is smoother and cleaner than it has ever been and I am shooting tighter groups as a result.

Fit perfect!! I installed it on a Rock Island 1911, just using the Mil spec G.I Strut, and strut pin, and everything fit perfect, not fitting required on this one!!!

Paired it with the deluxe sear it recommends and they work like a gunsmith did a trigger job. Clean break, no creep.

Wilson SK combat hammer was very well made. Hooks were at .20, all sear surfaces were polished mirror smooth. Very little if anything to do before installation. There is just simply no way cheaper MIM products can even come close to a fraction of the quality of Wilson combat. Always spend the extra money for Wilson Combat. You will not be disappointed

This is the hammer I ...

This is the hammer I should have purchased the first time. Instead I got a cheaper one from another manufacturer and the trigger pull actually got worse. I filed on it and not being a gunsmith was afraid that I could have screwed it up. I went ahead this time , spent the extra money and bought the Wilson to go along with the A-2 sear I purchased. What a difference ! It is a far better product and the pull now breaks at a crisp 3 3/4 lbs. I have learned the hard way.
