Close range ...

Close range shooting(30-50yd),But for longer ranges(100-200Yds),the #70919 Williams fiber-optic ghost ring sight is MUCH better!

Williams' ghost ring ...

Williams' ghost ring works great. I tagged a nice buck using this sighting system. It was instant to aquire and shoot the deer using this sight.

Three stars is not for ...

Three stars is not for quality. I got the Williams peep sight for my rifle and love it. The ghost ring is good quality, so no beef there. But I can't rate it higher due to use. First, the peep sight ring that the peep 'dish' (for lack of a better term) screws into looks just like this ghost ring, but with threads. So if you buy a Williams (mine is for a Rem 7600) peep sight, it has a ghost ring automatically. Second, a Ghost Ring is only good for really up close and personal work. Fine for a submachine gun for ranges under 30 yards. For hunting, the ring disappears almost completely from view, making accuracy and speed an issue. The peep 'dish' that came with the Williams Peep Sight worked great as it was for hunting from 20 to 200 yards. You can buy other peep 'dishes' to suit your needs. I would not recommend the ghost ring for hunting, but do recommend Williams products.

With a little file or ...

With a little file or dremel tool work this makes an EXCELLENT rear sight for the CZ52 (and other) pistols! It is a great sight for 'combat use' with quick target acquisition & clear sight picture! Much better than orig sight V !!
