I like the accuracy compared to other commercially available loads. I shoot Rem. .270 bdl. I get 1 in. groups at 100 yds. Gun is off the shelf not a custom gun.

While this ammunition is very accurate, the knock-down power it has is relatively poor. I had to use 3 shots at 150 yards on an 8 pointer this year to knock him down. All three shots were in the ribs and one seemed to never really penetrate the front shoulder. This ammo also cost me a 12 pointer in Missouri that ran away after being hit in the ribs soundly. Good ammo for coyotes but not deer!

I have used this ammo for a few years now. It lacks the knock down power of the more traditional core lock ammo, but it is more accurate in my opinion. I've shot a few deer that have ran 30-40 yards when they should have been a "kill shot", but I've also dropped an 8 point at 230 yards with a neck shot. It's good ammo not great.

The only round I have used in the past three years for whitetail all 6 were 1 shot drop in their tracks kills shortest being 123 yards longest 188 yards, excellent ammo, highly recommend it!

I have used this ammo for ...

I have used this ammo for the last 3 years and it has proven to be an accurate round and excellent on whitetail deer. My last one was at 90 yards in the neck and it was lights out. At 100 yds. my elevation went from 1.7 inches with the 130gr. CoreLokt to .5 with the AccuTip. At 150 yds. it hits right where you point. I'll keep on using this one.

This ammunition easily ...

This ammunition easily produces sub-MOA groups from my Browning (270 win) A-Bolt. However, I am not pleased with the bullet penetration. I shot an 8 point quartering to me at 80 yards. The round entered his shoulder and destroyed the near side lung without damaging the far lung or ribs). Thankfully I found him 30 yards away since he didn't leave a blood trail. I also lost three doe shooting this ammo this year. All were broadside shots between 140 - 160 yards. In each case, the deer dropped, but stood and ran into thick planted pines without leaving a blood trail. I did harvest a doe with a 40 yard pass through neck shot, but the round never struck bone. I will never shoot another deer with this ammunition.

Absolutely outstanding! I ...

Absolutely outstanding! I have shot deer with this round from 50 yards to 160 yards, every one has dropped. I have shot it though my Howa Axiom and I am getting 1/2" groups or less at 100 yards. Very accurate and very deadly. Take a neck shot on a whitetail and see what happens.

Most local boys have all ...

Most local boys have all switched to this round. An excellent performer on mule deer. Flat shooting, wind bucking and great retention are its claim to fame. As any round some rifles like it, some don't--mine loves it BDL 700. Last buck was jumped and shot at 33 yards and even with 6 inches of vertebra destruction still bullet weighed out at 87+%. Also a great sheep round!

This round performs ...

This round performs perfectly on Southeastern whitetail. I have not lost a deer hit with this round in the ten years I have used it. With a 700 BDL I have killed three over 300 yards away. All three dropped in their tracks. I have no expansion % stats as all have been pass through shots. From 12 yards out to 312 yards out, this round is all I need.

Made a 100 yard shot on a ...

Made a 100 yard shot on a doe last year. The doe spun around and ran off. I saw a lot of hair but not a drop of blood. My beliefs are that the bullet did not expand quickly enough. This year I'm switching back to Remington core-lok for a more rapid expansion and a better blood trail.
