Features precision click adjustments for windage and elevation and a dot intensity control switch that has eleven settings for brightness. Powered by a 3 volt lithium battery (Included). I mounted this product on ...

I mounted this product on my mini-30 with the included weaver base rings and an after market scoutmount rail. Better durability than most mil-spec stuff, stands up to abuse and wet weather. Great for quick, close quarter shooting as well longer range target practice. I sighted mine in at 100 yards, I have fired at least 600 hundred rounds and I have not had to readjust this sight yet.

The red dot itself, about ...

The red dot itself, about what you would expect for the price. The rings that came with it though? Useless. Not useless because they are cheap or poorly designed, but useless because they weren't even fully machined. It was as if they decided to not finish some, and threw them in the box anyways. Highly disappointed.

I put this on top of My Ruger 22/45. It worked perfect on the 15 and 25 yard range. It tighten my groups from 8 inches to 3 inches. I think that by using Match 22 ammo I will be able to get even tighter grops.

Excellent Red Dot sight for the money! I paired it up with the Weaver See-Through silver mounts for my Ruger 10/22 Takedown and it works are good as it looks!

Mounted on my .44 Mag ...

Mounted on my .44 Mag Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter with 7.5" barrel. Perfect fit using the 1" rings that came with the revolver. Was using a Burris 2x scope and getting a consistant six out of six on an 8" x 11" target at 50 yards. Found it hard to see the crosshairs at my age. Mounted the Millett. Had it zeroed in 4 shots. Now I can put six out of six in a 3" pattern at 50 yards. Fired over 100 rounds my first time out with various handloads and bullets. The sight held up and stayed on zero even through the hottest loads that I have. The sight does have a slight "starburst" on the higher settings but not a problem at 50 yards. Can't wait for deer season. I don't think you'll beat this one for the money.

This is an excellent sight.The dot is a perfect dot and I like the size 3 moa dot. Adjustments worked great when zeroing and it has held zero during numerous trips to the range. Recommend this sight highly.

It is unfortunate that J. M. of Jamestown, NY is not pleased with his Millet.One possible cause is most likely because he positioned the rings around that portion of the tube housing the lens.I may not be the only one who tightens rings until the Allen heads almost strip.My 445SM has a three ring T-SOB base. Recoil is enough to slide the optic sight forward regardless of how tight the rings are. My most forward ring is on the extension tube not around the lens portion, the rear ring is between the rear lens and that part that holds all the innards and the middle ring is right snug up against the front of part that contains all the innards. Hope this is helpful.

Absolutely the best red-dot sight made for the right price. I have tried and unfortunately trashed more than half dozen of the more pricey new-bees. This silver Millett SP1 is the only red-dot sight I like.Recoil is not a problem for this Millett sight. The first one of these sights I saw was mounted on a full auto 50 BMG. This was the sole reason I put one on my 8 inch 454 Raging Bull. After 500+ I decided the ported 454 was too much noise. Now my Millett is on a 20 inch Fox Ridge 445SM loaded way past listed max. I seat the bullets out to make room for more powder and power. Why didn't I just get a 444M? Well, I like to play with things.I have an 18 degree stigmatism in my right eye. I tried a low powered scope. Scopes seam to develop an extra cross hair and iron sights are impossible for my old eyes. This SP1 is for day and night use up close and out to 150 yards by far the most usable setup.Trash the factory supplied battery. I use radio shacks best. I store two extras in the pistol grip. So far I've gotten a couple of years with one battery. The sight is on when I need it and off when I don't, kinda like the safety. I'm buying a second Millet as a spare, I'll likely never need it like the two extra mags I carry for my Kimber acp.

The dot is actually a dot and not a comma shaped blob. Adjustments are precise and repeatable. This is my second millet RD and they both have been excellent! I wish they made a tubeless dot sight I could play with.
