You need two things for a clean "stop em in their tracks" kill. Shot placement and a good bullet! You do your job and these will do theirs..!

In getting ready for an elk trip in October I had a friend in my town sit down with me and work up a load for my 7 Mag. We tried several bullets off his bench from 160 Nos AB's and Partition's to Speer 160 BTSP's and Barnes 160 TSX's. This bullet won hands down in my rifle. I get clover leafs at 100 all day and just over 1.5 at 200. The bullets are seated at .020 according to my friend. My father was struggling with factory ammo till he saw how these shoot for me. Now he has almost as good accuracy as I do. I can't wait to try these in October!!!!! Great bullets.

I put these through a vintage Spanish mauser(7x57) with open sights and a sporter stock that I built for my son. a healthy dose of IMR 4007sc sends these down range at about 2400 fps. Very accurate with that 90+ year old barrel ; 5 shots into 1-1/4"@50 yards, 5 shots into 2-1/2" @100 yards and only 3" @150. We also put a Timney trigger in it, which helped the grouping also. This is a good load for any deer or elk within reasonable ranges .

My Ruger M77 MkII in .280 Rem loves these. They shoot tight groups (less than 1") and were the best of multiple .280 ~160gr bullets I've shot through it. I sit them on Herters 100 and win standard rifle primers. (yes its old powder you can't get, but I understand its similar to 4350). This is my go to rifle and round. I've taken two whitetail bucks with it... broad side lung shots ~50yds. Small entry hole, massive exit hole (could put your fist through) both bucks went less than 15 yds.

Used a few different bullets in my 7mm-08, from the Nosler BT to factory Remington CL and a couple others, but this one is night and day compared to the others. Loaded this to be a hot round at about 2750fps, and got a 6 point with it this past hunting season. hit like a hammer, dropped the buck where he stood, shot placement was a little forward, busted through both shoulders with a 3/4 in exit hole.Definitely plan on buying more of these in the future.

Awesome bullet! Works well in my 7mm-08, I had 3 shots of a three shot group all touching. Loaded with Varget and I'm so happy. Shot a doe in the neck and she dropped with blew her leg out on the other side.

Got tired of paying the ...

Got tired of paying the high price for the "designer" bullets when you could get them. Shoot these and it required a 2 click to the right adj. on the scope then shot a 3 shot group .465". These used to be deadly bullets on deer and elk, wonder when they stopped working.

Loaded these to near max in a 7mm magnum. Accuracy is excellent at .75" for 3 at 100yds. Shot an antelope this year at 80 yards quartering towards me. Bullet entered the left front shoulder, passed through boiler room and did not exit. Found one piece of the bullet in the right tenderloin weighed about 5 grains.

This bullet has performed very well in the 28 years I have hunted deer and moose in Manitoba, Canada. Most of the shots I have taken have been at 300+ yards. With next to no follow up shots needed. This is the bullet of choice for me. Good hunting, Lindsay

Before I started using the Sierra 160 gr.SBT. in my 7mm Rem. Mag. I used the 160 grain Nos. Part. I've been using the 160 gr. SBT now for over 25 years. I've taken many elk with one shot kills with this bullet and all but one bull dropped in his tracks. The one bull that didn't drop in his track only went 50 yards. It works very well on mullies too. Keep up the great job Sierra. As for my Rem. model 700,the best load that I've found is IMR4350, Rem Mag Primers, and Win. Brass. It shoots a .50 group at 100 yards.
