This replacement magazine converts a top loading Mauser 98 rifle to a detachable box magazine configuration without any permanent alterations required. Simply remove the military-style magazine floorplate and replace it with this GPC magazine. Magazine is compatible with 25-06, 270 Win, 30-06 and 8mm Mauser long action cartridges. Blue steel construction.

NOTE: When using pointed, spritzer type projectiles, a "U" shaped cutout on the front of the magazine body's face may be needed for reliable feeding.
