This is a special version of the Great Plains Rifle designed and manufactured for the hunter. It features a 32" octagon barrel with a faster 1 in 32" twist for today's modern projectiles. The Great Plains Hunter also features double set triggers, Hawken-style lock, walnut stock and wooden ramrod with entry thimble and nose cap. This rifle is also drilled and tapped to accept the Lyman 57 GPR receiver sight (sold separately).
