Shooting a Winchester ...

Shooting a Winchester Model 70 in a 7mm WSM. Loaded these bullets with AA-MagPro powder and WLRM primers. 2.860 O.A.L. At 175 yards a 5 Shot group at .988 probably would have been smaller but I pulled my last shot. Put up some balloons at 300 yards was 6 for 6 with a 15-20mph wind from left to right. They buck the wind very well. These 139gr Hornady Interlock BTSP are very accurate.

This is the best shooting ...

This is the best shooting bullet through my Savage 7mm-08. Shot a 5 shot group at 100 yards of .875" I reload them with 43 grains of Varget and I can't wait to try them on deer this fall.

This bullets shoots ...

This bullets shoots consistent 1" groups in my 7mm-08. I have harvested 10-12 deer in PA with a hand load of IMR 4064. They seldom go far and normally fall where hit. For the money, they're hard to beat as a very reliable deer bullet.

This Hornady bullet has ...

This Hornady bullet has performed superbly. Continually grouping 5 shot groups in under .75" and 3 shot groups at under .5" out of my wifes Ruger MKII 280 Rem. We believe in shooting 1 brand of brass, H4831 (regular), CCI 250M, and this bullet. Be careful and work out .5 grain increments. We have killed large mule deer out to 450 yd. plus and coyotes at over 550 yds. Look at the H4831 in combination with this bullet. God Bless

An excellent bullet for ...

An excellent bullet for average sized whitetails in cartridges like the 7mm-08. The 154gr is better suited for cartridges like the .280, 7mm Rem Mag, .284 Win, etc. But, this 139gr expands reliably in soft tissue and still holds together well striking heavy bone at moderate velocity. Have killed deer to 185# dressed weight using this bullet and had nearly golfball sized exit holes on chest shots.

Have used these at ...

Have used these at 2700fps in my 7X57 model 98 Mexican Mauser since 2000. Started as a plinking load for Winchester failsafe but since those are gone I had to switch. Have killed 2 WT does at 75 and 176 yards laser ranged. First one in 2003 fell instantly to a double lung shot no tracking. Second 2009 shooting from an elevated tower the doe facing my direction bullet entered base of neck at spine continued through left side of doe destroying lung, liver, and stopping inside the stomach. No tracking. 2007 shot a Rio Grande Turkey legal with a rifle in Texas at 115yd instant kill destroyed spine at base of wings no damage to breast. Great bullet still using same box bought in 2000. Gonna have to get a new one soon. For medium velocity this grain can't be beat.

Killed a 200lb whitetail ...

Killed a 200lb whitetail @ 390 yds w this bullet w .280 Rem @ 3050 fps mv. Bullet went thru chest and stopped just under hide on far side. Perfect mushroom. No major bones hit except for ribs.

Bought these for my 7mm ...

Bought these for my 7mm Rem mag just wasn't getting the groups I wanted from core locks so I loaded these myself and you could cover the 3 shot group with a nickel a 100 yrds and that's not just my rifle its the same out of my buddies rifle also I will buy more.

Switched to this bullet ...

Switched to this bullet for the wifes 7mm-08 after having less than ideal penetration on Texas hogs with Sierra 140's. She dropped a 350 lb. boar in his tracks at 125 yards. Shot square through both shoulders stopping under the hide on the far side. The hide on this hogs shoulders was 1-1/2 inches thick. Retained weight was 90 Gr. She's also had excellent results on whitetails out to 300 yards with this bullet. It's a keeper.
