Accurately and easily measure rimfire and centerfire firing pin protrusions to within 0.0001" with the Baker Firing Pin Extrusion Gage. To use, simply unlock the plunger and place the gage over an extended firing pin. Lock the plunger and then measure the overall length with a micrometer. The difference between the original length and the overall length on the body, plus the plunger, is the amount of protrusion from the firing pin.
