The face of the SlantPro rear sight is serrated and slanted forward slightly to eliminate glare and give better sight picture definition. The contoured shape makes the sight more snag resistant, an excellent concealed carry feature. Matte.

I bought my first Slantpro Heinie sights about four years ago and installed them on my Glock 22 and and immediately bought another to put on the G19. I have these sights on Glock firearms only and the installation is very easy. I believe there is not a better non-night sight for the price. I'm in love with my Heinie sights.

Excellent sights for the money. Rapid sight acquisition and a pleasure to use. Installation of the rear sight a little tougher than expected due to the tight fit, next set I'll file the rear sight if needed before hand. Please don't let this deter you from purchasing these Heinie's. A perfect addition to my G19.

Amazing improvement over the stock sights (which I could not stand). Very fast to get on target and follow up shots are a breeze. The only negative would be the installation. It was tough to do with just a hammer but if you tape up the slide really well and have a nice solid concrete slab to work on then banging away with a hammer does the trick.The sights are tough. Not a scratch on them after I beat them in. A great buy for the money. Would buy again.

I ordered on Sunday and received this sight set on the following Wednesday. Great service! These sights are a bit tight but a good vise and the right tools made installation a snap. I installed them on a model 19 and they were dead on from the first shot! You won't be disappointed in this product!

Installed these on my G21 ...

Installed these on my G21 without any issue. Past experience with these on other Glocks taught me to shave just a tiny bit of metal off the rear site dovetail to make installation a bit easier. Still had to hit fairly hard with a brass drift and with the set screw they're not going anywhere. Installed the front sight with red loctite and the Lone Wolf sight tool which fit the nut of the front site absolutely perfectly. I've found the factory Glock sites are difficult to shoot indoors or in lower light conditions. These Heinie sights have plenty of light on either side of the front post.

I purchased this as a replacement for the factory plastic sights and found them to be a distinct improvement. The sight picture is clearer and quicker to pick up. Installation was easily accomplished, zero right on the money. I find several co-workers use the same or the night-site version and all are very pleased with them. A product to be recommended.

Wanted something more ...

Wanted something more durable than the plastic Glock sights for my G19. The price was reasonable and sights are metal. When arrived observed the set to have no machine markings and had a clean flat black finish. Was able to install these myself with the use of a 3/16" nut-driver, punch, and hammer. Took the weapon with the new sights out to the range the same day, shot point of aim point of impact, was very accurate. The front sight post was a little higher than I am used to, but when compared with the original plastic sight's, height was not much of a difference. The serrations eliminate glare and front sight post is easy to pick up with good width in rear notch. I highly recommend the Heinie Slantpro metal sights for defensive carry, very tough and durable. Carry as off duty weapon, very confident...

I ordered this sight set for my Glock 17 which had the "Generic" factory set on it. I found these sights to be easy to install, as advertised, and the sight picture to be outstanding. One of the best pistol upgrades one can do is to install a good set of sights. The ease of self- installation of these sights is a plus and will save waiting and money, making this sight set a truly good deal. I would wholeheartedly reccomend this product.

These sights have proven to be extremely durable. Sight acquisition is very fast and smooth. Being used to a lower profile front sight makes getting used to the higher front sight a challenge. If you shoot IDPA, invest in a set of these sights, you won't regret it.
