The ideal handgun shooting rest
6" of had support adjustment, 3" of vertical barrel height adjustment
Non-marring, weatherproof material provides a stable shooting surface

Technical Information

Construction:

Made of polypropylene with santoprene pads on top of the front cradle and hand support

Four rubber feet are mounted to the bottom of the base to provide a stable, non-skid shooting platform

Notes From the manufacturer

Has a movable hand support that can move forward or rearward of the front cradle

Hand support can move 6 inches forward of its photographed position at 3/4" increments

Hand support is moved by lifting the bottom rear edge of the hand support and sliding it forward or backward

Hand support snaps into place at each adjustment location

Rest has 3" of vertical elevation adjustment and can be locked via a thumbscrew at any height
Warranty:

1-year warranty against manufacturing defects

I gave it 3 stars because - I had to put it on a stand to raise it up so as to use with comfort.Tried to fine tune a gun with a laser grip on it.The front support blocks the laser - had to improvise a foam front support, which in my opinion should be included with the product.It worked great after my changes.If I did not try to fine tune a gun with a laser grip I would have given it 4 stars.

I purchased this item to sight in my handguns. Out of the box, I would give this product an F. The gray plastic base that supports the green hand support is so flimsy that when you rest gun and hand on it, it flexes which destroys your sight picture. I found that I had to hold the gun up, which defeats the purpose of the gun rest. To solve this, I cut a 2x4 the length of the inside of the base, inserted the 2x4 into the base and this eliminated the flex. With the 2x4 insert, I would grade this product a B-.

Good product and it meets my needs for an occasional use. I gave it 3 stars because of the feet, mine came with the feet installed and they were over tighten. I cured this by throwing them away and installing some from a computer. Now it's perfect.

Pretty impressed with this product for the money. Well made and constructed. Good design. Like that it can be adjusted for varying size guns. They could make it a little heavier but it works.

A great rest for ...

A great rest for evaluating target hand guns. I use it on occasion for that purpose, although that has only been a few times. It has held up well so far on my 45 LC, K-22 and K-38. Time will tell how it holds up in the long run, but if it's not abused I'm sure it will be fine. Good product for the price.

A great low-cost rest for ...

A great low-cost rest for pistols and even smaller rifles too. I purchased this to ensure my Ruger MkIII Hunter was dead on for the Ruger Rimfire shoot in August. It worked great for that and also for my daughter to shoot the Hunter too since it's still a bit "nose heavy" for her to hold. It could definitely be made more solid - even just thicker plastic without going to a full metal option (and quadrupling the cost...). If on sale, the price can't be beat & I would recommend this to a friend (though they end up just borrowing mine!).

Happy with the product. I have 2 bad shoulders and this relieves a lot of stress and really shows me if the sights need adjustment or if I need to alter my shooting style. Excellent now since my magnum revolvers no longer burn my Caldwell bag rest. 6 stars for MidwayUSA!

For the price it is a good rest. It is however, very lightweight and somewhat wobbly. If you want a light duty rest for a low price this is it. If you are looking for a rest to do serious precision shooting I would look at the more expensive rests.

I have 2 of these, one in OH on my private range and one in AK that I donated to the local gun club. The one in OH has held up well but the one I left for others to use in AK has broken in several places. I averaged them together for the 3-star rating. I wish they were metal. They work great for testing my loads but don't hold up to heavy use. I would buy another one for just my personal use.
