Simplify the process

I load 9mm, 38, 40 cal pistol rounds and I set up turret for each. Now all I have to do is switch turrets and don't have the frustration of resetting the dies. Makes using the Load Master simple to use.

A must have for those reloading multiple calibers. They make changing calibers a breeze. I built a very nice stainless steel rack that holds them nicely. Each of which has its own bullet feeder adapted to it.

My brother & I have had our Loadmaster for about 2 years we load different pistol calibers getting ready to start rifle calibers. We wouldn't be without extra turrets they work great, are very stable, easy to change. We haven't used a stopwatch to measure the difference in time to switch loading calibers but consider changing 3 to 4 dies and getting them set versus unlocking, twisting & lifting out the turret & reversing the process with a different set. We mount the powder measure (pro auto disk) with the swivel connector & use the chain link connector on the pull back chain. We also use an extra crimp die on certain calibers. Well worth the money. We agree with the gentleman that Lee should make a round storage box to fit this turret set up like they do for the 4 hole turret used on their turret presses, would make it perfect for storage. It is very well made good finish and tolerances. Thanks Lee & Midway for offering this great product.

The LoadMaster with all ...

The LoadMaster with all the dies loaded in the turret makes caliber changes very fast. Swapping turrets and shell plates is fast. If you need to swap primers, that's not too bad either. The only hassle is adjusting or swapping the case feeder for the pistol calibers. I don't use bullet feeders. I bought AutoDisk powder measures for each caliber, and that saves a lot of time if you volume load one recipe for each caliber, but I always seem to experiment so it doesn't save as much time as I thought. It's easy to pull the ball chain out of the AutoDisk measure and into the next when swapping turrets, taking maybe a second or two. I wouldn't use the spring powder reset that's intended for the Turret press because it'd make double charges more likely if there is a problem with the progressive press causing you to short stroke it near the top. The ball chain activation prevents double throws by charging at the top of the stroke and resetting at the bottom of the stroke. I use the open round die boxes to store the loaded turrets on top, with a few incidental items like cartridge gauges or shell plates stored inside, but the loaded turrets are a bit top heavy when balanced on top of the round die boxes, especially if you have the powder measure installed. Mine are on a top shelf, leaning against the wall to stabilize them.

These work great, and the rating with info on how to use the die cases is terrific. Will use those now. Installing the dies, and using these plates is just too easy. A minor problem is with powder measures using the chain pullback. Must remove powder measure from drop die to change calibers. Or, if have many measures, then the chain must be disconnected. I put a link in the chain above the ram head to make it easier.Since most pistol powder drop dies are about same height, minor adjustments are easy. I'm converting to the spring actuated lever from Auto disk Powder measure to make switching calibers even easier..The turrrets are really great.

It makes switching between calibers so easy! If I weren't so damn cheap, I'd buy multiple powder measures to go along with them! I use the original containers the dies came in, flipped over. The turret sits nicely on top of it.
