I rate this "OK" simply because it may work for others and I want to be fair to the product. For me it was useless due to the internal dimensions of the receiver into which I tried to install it. I learned later there are "high shelf" and "low shelf" receivers. There was no space available beneath the takedown pin in my high shelf receiver to accept this accurizing device, even after I radically reduced the thickness of the bottom end of the wedge.

Bought 3 of these for my ...

Bought 3 of these for my ARs. Spikes tactical upper and lower dropped in no mods and holds tight. Second AR BCM upper double star lower dropped right in no mods fit tight. Third AR S&W M&P15 lower VLTOR upper already a tight fit. I could not get the wedge in on this combo no matter how much was cut. If you have the third combo you might wanna stay away but the other two worked great. Will buy again if needed.

The concept is good. However, with an S&W M&P 15 it was necessary to remove most of the bottom and a significant amount of the side to allow the receivers to close. In the end it did work.
