Product Information

Weatherby and Norma have teamed up in the past to offer its customers premium ammunition for a wide variety of hunting applications. This particular load features Norma's brass, primer, powder and Spitzer bullet.

Norma brass is manufactured under the most exacting standards, from the raw materials to the final inspection. The CNC-machined primer pockets include specially designed primers that provide positive ignition of the powder charges. Norma's high grade powder offers maximum velocity and energy. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Always wanted a 257 WBY. ...

Always wanted a 257 WBY. Picked one up used. I reload. Bought this ammo because it was $5 cheaper per box than buying empty brass (GOOFY!) Ballistically it should perform poorly when compared to ballistic tips or other more aerodynamic ammo. BIG SURPRISE. Once dialed-in I put 10 rounds in a 2MOA bullseye @ 100 yards. This is extremely consistent ammo that seems designed for the Vanguard. Problem now is that I'm struggling to meet/exceed that accuracy with my hand loaded ballistic tips. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend! Shot a doe @ 160 yards dropped like a sack of potatoes, then shot a buck @ 175 yards, he as well died on impact. Yesterday I shot a buck @ 325 yards and he made it 40 yards before taking a dirt nap. These bullets came with the gun when purchased and was going to use them then switch once i used the 2 boxes up but i believe these will be my go to bullets. Plus i shot 3/4" moa @ 100 yards out of a vangaurd series 2.

At 80 yards my Grandson Dropped a 12 point buck with one shot angled through the lung through the heart and lodged under the skin on the way out . Perfect expansion .Deer dropped to its front Knees tried to get up and fell over dead . Over the past 3 years my grand sons have taken 5 deer and none took a step after being hit with this load .

I purchased a few boxes to break in my .257 Weatherby and also to just keep a couple boxes of ammo on hand. This ammo has a very light recoil and shoots pretty tight groups.

Purchased this ammo for my new 257mag. it took only 4 rounds to dial in! then next 5 rounds were inside of a dime @100yds. This is tack driving ammo. Great price thank you MidwayUSA. PLEASE keep it on the shelves. Everyone try it. Great product at a great price!!!

This inexpensive loading with the Norma spitzer was one of two styles of 100 grain factory ammunition that I used to break in a new Weatherby Mark V Accumark with 26" fluted barrel. Along with the 100 gr. Hornady spire point factory load, the rifle repeatedly produced three shot groups in one ragged hole. Great performance and quality brass to re-load, all at a very good price.

I tried this ammo in my Rem 700 LSS, 26" barrel, Nikon 5-20x44 Monarch, velocity was 200 fps faster than advertised by Weatherby, shot from 3714 to 3734 in my rifle with Chrony 10 feet from muzzle and accuracy was 3/4" @ 100 yards. I can't get my handloads to shoot over 3500 fps with 100 grainers. I now have 7 more boxes of this great ammo

This ammo is good stuff. Shot a 5 shot .90 group with a new vanguard. Velocity was 3525 from a 24" barrel! The spread was only 10 fps! Have not been able to get this velocity in any of my reloads yet.
