Lee 2-Cavity Bullet Molds are a great choice for reloaders looking for a quality mold at an affordable price. Lee machines their mold blocks from aluminum making them rust resistant. Aluminum molds heat up and cool down faster than iron or steel molds and good bullets can usually be produced only after a few casts. In addition, aluminum blocks are one-third the weight of iron or steel mold blocks offering the bullet caster less fatigue during extended casting sessions. To ensure the best possible bullets, mold block halves are CNC machined for unmatched roundness and size control. Weights given are Lee's weights with suggested alloy; actual weight may vary due to the alloy mixture used.

This bullet will feed and fire flawlessly in my Marlin 1894 in 44 Mag, something that semi-wadcutters refuse to do. Accuracy is so-so, but I am working with that. I believe this is a bullet that needs sizing and re lubing.On the down side, this bullet shoots "patterns" from my 6 1/2" Blackhawk.

I like this mold a lot. It drops high quality 0.431" bullets in just 3 tries from full warm up. It seems to like Lyman #2 alloy. I load this in 44 special cowboy fired from a Ruger SA revolver - very accurate (1.5" @ 25 yds). I wanted to load this bullet for full power 444 Marlin shots, but having no gas check groove, this was a problem. After some head scratching, I was able to put a gas check groove on the bullet using my Hornady bullet puller with a 0.430 collet. I inserted the cast bullet's lowest driving band (about 1/8") into the puller's collet fingers and adjusted the action to size down the bullet just enough so I can seat the gas check with hand pressure. After seating, I crimped it in place with the lee bullet sizer. Finally, I lubed the bullet w/ my Lyman 450. I am able to fire this gas checked bullet to 1,700 - 2000 fps w/o leading. Bullet is very accurate out of my T/C Encore rifle. Took out some coyote at 75 yds with it. Great bullet, great mold...thanks Mr. Lee & Midway!!!

This is my favorite bullet in 44 Mag . My favorite load of universal around 1000+ fps sends this into a cloverleaf group @ 25yds out of my 6-1/2" Ruger flattop. This light bullet is easy on the gun and the wrist. The lube grooves hold lube very well. I have shot about 2000 of these and the mold is still in excellent shape. I have a lot of Lee molds and like the price , you can buy 3-4 lee molds for the price of one of the others.

This proves to be a wonderful little plinking bullet for my .444 Marlin. At 50 yds. it hits anything we shoot at. My son was able to shoot my .444 at the age of 12 using these bullets and a light charge of shotgun powder. Doesn't like to be pushed too fast in my rifle but does real well in light loads.

I use this bullet in my 1894 Marlin CB limited 24" bbl. It shoots flawlessly. It has fed without a single glitch after about 800+ rounds. I don't have to size the bullets, and I use lee liquid alox for lubricant. The mold itself may wear out eventually, but with care it should cast several thousand rounds before it has to be replaced.

My mold works great! It fills out well. I purchased it for flawless feeding in my Marlin lever action rifle. It will not feed when seated to the crimp groove. I increased the overall length and it feeds fine. I wish Lee made a gas check version with this bullet shape in a 200 or 240 grain weight for high velocity use in my rifle. Maybe Midway will pay the set up fee for the custom mold, and offer them for sale! This is the only cast bullet shape that feeds properly in my rifle.

This bullet is fantastic in my Marlin 444. It feeds with no problems and with mild charges of Red Dot powder shoots about one and one half inches at 50 yards. While I don't consider this match accuracy, I enjoy shooting it without rattling my teeth like jacket bullets, and the economy of just a few cents a shot is so easy on my budget. I highly recommend this bullet for rifle and plinking loads in my 44 magnum
