ok 1st off, quality of this scope is top notch, clarity, ruggedness ect... great, 2nd to nonebut... does not have a 223 bcd turret. it has non locking target turrets, these turrets can be zeroed, the numbers rotated back to "0"( without changing the point of impact) and then "set" this way so that your zero setting is marked "0". the turrets can then be rotated 1/4 moa per click to proper bdc for whatever range needed. However, the max adjustable setting for the turrets once "set" are 10 moa past "0" for elevation and 5 moa each way for windage. the "cqb" reticle is a horse shoe shape which has great visual acquisition, but the "bdc" increments are in 2 mil increments, not bdc for 223 or 308 or ect... so you must remember your hold-overs, however as it is only a 3x the 2 mil tick marks are small so its hard to guess at the right hold over.Also IOR mount puts center-bore to center tube height to 3.2" height and top turret is tall, making it extra clumsy to shoot off front sight post for 25m or less. Lowering the scope with a different mount is a problem as the 3x is low power enough to be obstructed by the front sight post, with a folding front sight you lose the ability to quickly transition from optic to shooting from front sight in MOUT/ heavy bush environments.all in all, not powerful enough for a bench scope, lack of power and poor choice of features combine for a bad choice for designated marksman optic. to high and turrets dont lock making it a poor gun fighting optic.but quality of manufacture is great...but I wish I still had an acog
