This in an absolute piece ...

This in an absolute piece of junk. On the first use, it leaked air at all connections.the small fittings that connect the air hoses have very tiny little rubber washers that insert into the fittings.. They blew through the device and lodged in the air brush and the other in the hose. The fitting that connects the hose to this air brush is pressed into plastic. It fell out and when you try to reinsert it, it blows back out when you supply the air to the brush. If that isn't enough, the very tiny spring that returns the button to controll on and off to spray, blew out into Unknown territory. I use and followed the directions exactly. Save yourself alot of GRIEF. This is a piece of JUNK. The dura coat is an excellant product, but MIDWAY should evaluate this item. If there was a zero rating, it would get it!!!!

I was skeptical about this product due to the reviews I read about the bad airbrush. I ordered it anyway with no regrets. I was duracoating within minutes after it came in the mail. The airbrush worked perfectly. My 1927 Remington Model 30 looks better now than ever, probably even when it was new. My first duracoat job turned out like it was professionally done. The bad thing is that the airbrush kit didn't come with directions, easy to figure out though. Didn't even use half of a 4oz. bottle to do a complete rifle. Set air compressor at 25psi, and tried it out on piece of cardboard to adjust the spray. Highly recommend this product if you want to save money, have a perfect looking finish when done and how easy it was to use. Going to use again.

I agree with the above posters that say this is a piece of junk. I used it once and threw it in the trash can. I recommend getting another air brush, big time! I can't believe LCW would embarrass themselves by putting their name on this thing! I do want to say LCW has great paints. The above posters that said this is awesome, just have never used a better airbrush before. I experienced the leaking problems also.

I purchased this kit after reading on Lauer Weaponry about how easy it was to use. Kit showed up and looked fine. But a major flaw in this is that it does not have directions on set up or advice on quick fix tips if you encounter problems. I first tried to hook it into the air brush propellant can from Lauer and all it did was leak! The plastic piece meant to attach to the top of the propellant is high quality JUNK! Luckily the air compressor attachment was well made. Even then you have to adjust the small line that runs from the compressor fitting to the air brush very carefully until the leak stops. After about 30 minutes of tinkering and adjusting it finally took off and did amazing work. Best advice, buy this only if you have time to work out the kinks and an air compressor to work with. I would not recommend using this with the air brush propellant. If you dont have an air compressor, either buy one or buy the Lauer preval aerosol throw away set up. I give it three stars for the work it did after I fixed the issues with it.

Piece of junk. I would not advise anyone to order this product. Leaks!!! Loses air pressure. I will be contacting & returning to midway whom I know will treat me fairly on this. I was forced to buy another airbrush to finish the project. I would advise a Badger 250.

I was very satisfied by the results of my first spray. The coat was very even and very professional looking. That's where it ends. I cleaned the sprayer with brush cleaner and set it away for another use. The second time I used it, I hooked the air up to it, pressed the button and the gun just exploded in my hands. Apparently the brush cleaner deteriorated the plastic. The brush cleaner I used is nothing special, I have used in plastic before. If I'm lucky I can superglue everything back together and maybe use it again. Typical poor Chinese junk. It's a shame- could have been a nice products.

I love the Duracoat paint ...

I love the Duracoat paint but was very unhappy with this airbrush. Tried on wood to get it to work correctly and it never did.
