This is an odd item; a ...

This is an odd item; a tray without the cover. In the best of times this primer feed is part of a medium performance way of doing things. For instance, why the limit of 100 primers? How about a more reliable shape for feeding the primers/ Sometimes the primers bind up on each other and you have to keep jostling the tray to shake primers into the chute. How about a nice sized square that lets you put a pack of primers in directly. Currently I flip primers out onto a piece of paper then slide them onto this little circle.

Like the reviewer below said...why a tray and no cover? I did not realize it didn't have a cover when I ordered and that was actually the piece I wanted because my existing one broke. I guess I can't fault the product because I got exactly what I ordered...but hopefully this saves someone else.

Necessary to get the most ...

Necessary to get the most speed out of a Loadmaster Press but it should include the cover...or at least have the cover offered for sale too. It's a waste having uncovered trays filled with primers sitting on the bench. It's an invitation for a spill or other accident.
