I have two and I am about to order a third. It is the finest sling on the market. Length can be adjusted with the pull of the strap but never slips. Great for those that use a sling when shooting. Lighter and less complicated than the military sling with less hardware. The leather is oiled to perfection. Can be broken in quickly to be as soft as a spanked baby's butt. Love it.

This innovative update of the M1907 sling is well made and functions without flaw. I'm 6' 2" 225lbs and it fits well to make the solid shooting platforms (as designed) as well as expands to over-the-shoulder carry without a hitch. It's the perfect match to my favorite 1894 .44 mag hunting rig.

I've had this sling since 1989, when I bought it for my Ruger M-77, and I was amazed that anyone would ever bother with the old fashioned frog hook style of sling when you can have this. It adjusts length instantly, either shorter or longer, depending on which end of the strap you pull. It doesn't slip, and the quality of the leather is very good. I especially like this because it can be adjusted to be half taught for easy carrying, then instantly slacked out for use as a shooting sling to stabilize my hold. It's even a real bargain.Will be buying another of these for my new Marlin 1894. I'm uninterested in any other sling.I'm sold!

Great product and the reviews were spot on. It's a bit on the short side for me so I punched a couple new holes. For the money this is product is under priced. It's a great sling that I'm sure will last longer they me. Not only does it make my old 30-30 look good but with it's help my off hand group is really bringing home the bacon!

I've been hunting for over 50 years. During that time, I have used just about every contraption for a sling, including a belt. This is by far the most satisfactory sling that have used. Works the way the manufacturer say's it will. Greatest thing about it, is the simplicity. You can open it to carry on your shoulder, or snug it up so it wont catch in the brush. Another company used to make a sling almost like this, but it's not produced anymore. For the price, you get a lot of quality.

This is a very simple, high quality product, good bang for the buck. It's thick, sturdy leather, and a solid buckle. Plan to oil it good at first though with some Neets oil or similar, otherwise it'll take a while to become pliable. My only gripe is that it's non-adjustable, and requires two screwdrivers to remove the sling.Adding a few more holes to allow the length to be adjustable would be a cheap & easy way to earn 5 stars, as would using an easier to remove attachment (than screws).A few minutes with a leather punch fixes the problem of not being adjustable, and I'm still working on something to replace the screws. At least they won't accidentally come loose.

I purchased this and the Whelen 1" sling. This sling is slick and goes together alot quicker than the Whelen (however they are both nice). I put this one on a Marlin 1894 .44 mag. lever gun. Good and functional, easy to adjust. Good quality leather, should last my lifetime!
