Optics work fine. Can ...

Optics work fine. Can spot bullet holes at 200 yards OK IF you can hold the scope still! The tripod sent with the scope cannot be clamped tightly to the scope. Any light touch to scope, movement of the bench, or even a slight breeze renders the scope useless. Very disappointed with Leupold for such a cheap tripod attachment. Don't know what to do now but figure some other arrangement. Before you but any scope ask about the tripod arrangement.

I was disappointed with ...

I was disappointed with the overall performance of the spotting scope. I expected more from a Leupold product. It works fine at the low to mid magnification at 100 to 200 yards, but so does my Mark AR 4-12X scope. At 60X and 300 yards I cannot focus to see a .223 bullet hole on a shoot-n-see target. Is that asking too much from a 60X spotting scope? The tripod has a quick change base and side tilt that is way too loose to hold the scope steady. I had to use another tripod to steady the scope. For the price, I expected better performance.
