My son's pistol needed ...

My son's pistol needed his rear sight adjusted and I didn't want to bang on it and risk damaging the slide or the sight. Instead I opted for the MGW sight adjustment tool. This tool is stout and well built. The threads are fine enough for minute adjustments and the clamping mechanism holds the slide securely. I highly recommend this tool for anyone wanting to make adjustments to their rear 1911 sights. -PS If the adjustment shoe does not reach your sight you can add large diameter flat washers under the clamping mechanism to raise the slide.

I would have liked to see ...

I would have liked to see the top pusher shoe fit the sight better. Maybe closer to the slide to grab more of the sight and make pushing the sight easier.
