Product Information

With internal parts EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated and polished for consistency, these triggers are manufactured with great care and attention to detail in order to provide the end user with a smooth, positive break. Triggers are fully adjustable for both sear engagement and weight. Triggers for use in pre-2006 guns use the factory safety, while those for post-2006 guns (using Remington's X-Mark Pro trigger) include a new right-hand safety and bolt release. This trigger is not designed to fit the Model 7.

I purchased this trigger for a Remington Model 7. While the trigger is of good quality, the bolt release will not fit a Model 7 as the manufacturer's website states. Furthermore it is not possible to utilize the original bolt release due to different alignment pin locations. Upon contacting the manufacturer they stated that they are designing a release for this model and they will provide it free of charge when available.

Good trigger, lacking instuctions.

The trigger is great and grouping improved. I had some problems with the initial instalation as I used the old pins instead of the ones provided with the trigger. Once I corrected that the trigger worked great. The paper instrucitons and the on line instructions combine the adjustments for different version of the tigger in to one. This created a great concern and doubt about which screw adjusted what. By experimentation we figured out the correct screws and were able to get the trigger adjusted.

This trigger is better ...

This trigger is better than the X Mark Pro Trigger. However, it has been disappointing compared to the Shilen trigger I have. In the 1 year I have had this Rifle Basix mounted on a model 700 22-250, I have had to take it apart twice to make adjustments. After regular use, the creep makes its way back into the trigger pull process. I now have it set nearly as good as my Shilen so hopefully the nail polish holds the set screws in place. The Shilen trigger on my 300 win mag has fired approx 100 rounds per year over the past 3 years and I have never had to adjust it. In my opinion, spend your money on a Shilen.

Installed on my rifle by following privided instructions in 20 minutes. Firing pin would move forward (into fired position) when I closed the bolt. 5 more minutes with an allen wrench and provided instructions and it was perfect at 2lbs preset. Worth every penny.

Works perfect. Won't function when it shouldn't. Required minimal work to install. Had to remove small amount of material on stock of Model 7 but no big deal. Group sizes went down over factory trigger. Spoke briefly with company's owner about install & he was helpful. Very pleased with the product. Will be buying another from them.
