Nice holster - Fits my M9A1

I wanted a decent general purpose holster for my M9A1 that would be adaptable for range or carry use. The model 49 version of this holster fits M9A1 which is hard to buy for. The construction is solid and fit and retention is good enough for this holster type. The material is plastic covered in leather on the outside and suede on the inside. I like the sueded material on the inside because I think it is easier on the finish. This holster comes with the belt attachement and the paddle. The paddle is already installed. The draw is easy after a few adjustments. I like it so far.

Great Holster! A little difficult to adjust, however, that also makes it hard for the screws to back out on their own. I'm using it on my Sig 2202 because not may holsters fit that gun. Works great. If it ever wares out I'll buy another!

This is a great product and was the only holster I have found that would work with a Glock 21SF w/ picatinny rail as a CCW rig. The quality and value is above what you would expect from at this price. If you have a large frame polymer gun, you should consider this holster for carrying it. It holds the gun close and reduces the profile of these large pistols well. But I would say that this is mainly a cool weather holster, because the weapon would be visible without wearing a jacket. However, with the correct length jacket, no one will know you are carrying.

This is my first paddle ...

This is my first paddle holster. I shoot IDPA and I was looking for something conviently worn and comfortable to use. I have not used it in action yet, but after trying it on and a few practice draws I think this will work very well. Now for the criticism-this holster is custom for a 5 inch barrell. My XD is a 4 inch barrell. The ad did not say this so is it available for custom fit for a 4 inch barrell? Not a big deal...I just have to be sure my cover is sufficient. This holster seems to be very comfortably worn, light weight, convient on and off, and close fitting. If your packing a four inch barrell and don't mind the extra inch at the end, I would reccommend this purchase.
