The pack is hydration ready and holds up to a 2.5 liter bladder (hydration bladder not included). It features a padded back and shoulder straps with ventilation mesh for extra comfort. I use this for the short trip to to tree stand and back. Enough room for a water bladder, my knife, grunt call, gloves, release, bullets,a small snack, etc. No, I can't carry my books to class, but that's not what I needed it for.

Like the other review said, it's pretty small, but that's why I wanted it. I wear it to the stand and hang it next to me. Enough room to hold my gloves, release, binoculars, grunt call, knife and multi-tool. Still has room for camelback bladder. Obviously plenty of storage room for a trip to the stand and back.
