The unique Quick Detachable (QD) design stops the metal swivel body from contacting the gun. The close machining tolerances provide smooth and silent operation. Super Swivels do not include studs. All others include studs or barrel bands, depending on type.

Supplied hex tool did not fit well

I really like Uncle Mike's products and have been happy with them as long as the user does their part to install the product correctly. In this case the supplied hex wrench did not fit the hex screw well and twisted within the screw head without much torque. Quality product just missed the mark on that... I would e-mail the company but they just give a phone number and not an e-mail address.

To fit a Ruger Mini-14; ...

To fit a Ruger Mini-14; the part that clamps onto the magazine tube of a Marlin clamps onto the gas block of the Mini-14. It fits above and forward of the existing sling loop. It fits OK, but not great. I think I will grind the area where the sling loop fits to take a standard quick detach swivel.

This is the size that bands perfect to the lyman great plains rifle muzzleloader, really strong clamp; I have never had a problem with them coming loose.

Nice bluing, matches perfect. The fit at the mag tube is excellent and it installs easily. I am very pleased with the mounts.

I actually bought this item to use on a beeman break action pellet rifle after taking a measurement of the barrel. It has worked out great and was very easy to install.

I used this on the Remington summit air rifle. Barrel dia was .580, it worked out excellent.I have used a lot of Uncle Mike's products over the years and never been disappointed.
