I purchased this with the Ed Brown sear jig and stoned not only the sear but the hammer notch and hammer feet as well. It worked perfectly.

Used it with a sear jig to do 2 triggers on my 1911's and it worked great. Remember to oil it if you want a good finish.

This is a Norton FF-46 ...

This is a Norton FF-46 stone. The same fine ceramic stone you see Midway's major competitor sells for more than double the price. Observations: The stone is perfectly square with no chipped edges. Quality is good as expected.Cons:1. The stone is actually 1/16" shy of being 1/2" in diameter, but Midway represents this as being 1/2" in diameter. 2. The stone came in a plastic bag and was luckily not damaged during shipping. It would be nice if it came in a cylindrical plastic storage container. All in all a good deal for the price.
