This nylon pouch attaches to any belt or can be carried by strap handle. Comes with elastic loops and a slide clip closure. Rifle model holds 223 Remington through 458 Winchester Magnum, while the Shotgun model holds 12, 16 and 20 gauge shells.

This holder fits my .458 ...

This holder fits my .458 Win Mag ammo just fine. A previous review said it doesn't. I hand-load and my bullets are cast from the RanchDog 460-350-FNGC bullet mold. My bullet lube is a bit sticky so I push the shells in case-head first and had no trouble.I expected the holder to be noticeably heavy with 14 rounds of .458 WM, and it is, but that is not a problem and they feel secure to carry. The closing strap is adjustable for tension and that works fine too.

I would not recommend this shell carrier, due to the fact that when walking the strap that holds the pouch, closed slides over the side even if you tighten it up. I lost several rounds hunting elk and deer. I do have several other nylon pouches that are made by Allen where they use velcro and I have never had a problem. I would say if you were not walking very far this pouch would be o.k., otherwise, avoid this style.D.Sand

This is an outstanding product for the price. It holds .308 and 30-06 parent case chamberings quite well. The elastic strap and buckle closure it quite durable and dependable. The snaps for the belt loops secure VERY GOOD and I have yet to have a snap come undone when it is attached to some MOLLE straps outside my pack. Two of these fit easily in the ammo pouch that is inside most drag bags just above where the cheek rest of a rifle would sit while it's in the bag. One of these costs about $10 less than Blackhawk's comparable model and in my opinion is just as good with the bonus of this product being able to carry 4 more rounds. Dont hesitate to buy this quality product.

Worked great for hog ...

Worked great for hog hunt'n. It held fourteen rounds of my .270 shells and the buckle kept it from coming open on me in the deep brush. It rained that day and my ammo stayed dry, but it didn't keep the sand out. Doesn't fit a wide belt, but it is lightweight.

Excellent product! I have used this for a couple of seasons now and I love it. I like how it closes with a snap and NOT velcro. I use it for 7-30 Waters and 257AI, works well for both. It holds 14 rounds and doesn't have a problem closing. Shells are easy to get out. Not much else to say.

Overall nice product. Plastic clip is a little noisey when you unclip it but otherwise nothing wrong with it. Purchased for use with my 375 H&H but is too small for that. Works perfectly with 30-06 so that is what I will use it for.
