The RCBS Case Neck Turner with Auto Feed is ideal for fast, easy removal of excessive neck material or variation in case neck thickness. Both the inside and outside of the case neck is turned simultaneously. The Auto Feed attachment (fits the Case Trimmer-2 and Trim Pro Manual Case Trimmer only) and advances the cutting tool evenly over the case neck with each turn of the trimmer handle. Requires the use of caliber specific Case Neck Turner Pilot-Reamer (sold separately)

Top notch, first rate. ...

Top notch, first rate. You do not have to disengage the cutter head after each neck turned. First, you don't take overly deep cuts and then you simply disengage the auto feed and back it off while turning the tool in the same "cutting direction". Also, I'm pretty sure you can still trim cases to length by just replacing the cutter head with your original and just leave the auto feed thread bushing off. So it's not really that time consuming to make the switch.

This tool is a bit slow ...

This tool is a bit slow to use, as you have to disengage the cutter a bit before removing it, otherwise you will mar the case with a cut line as you pull the tool off.The first one I got, the mandrel was held off-center, and the case bobbed up and down as I used it. Necks were cut eccentric. RCBS replaced it, the new cutter had a burr on it and cut deep grooves. The sent me a new cutter, brass goes in 5/10,000 out of round, comes out 8/10,000 out of round. Looking into other brands.

This neck turner is the ...

This neck turner is the same quality I have come to expect after 45 years of reloading with RCBS products. Over the years I have used another brand for turning necks but now along with a new RCBS power feed case trimmer I have a system that is much faster while giving better quality. My reloading is for hunting but I like to get the last bit of accuracy I can to make up for my poor shooting or other conditions that may effect shot placement on a given day.

At first I thought that ...

At first I thought that buying this item would be a waste of money and time. It turns out that after neck turning my brass my groups went from a 1/2" to about 1/4" and these are 5 shot groups out of my custom .300WM. I'm still using regular RCBS dies but I'm about to buy some neck sizer dies that use bushings just to see what difference, if any it makes. Also, the extreme spread on my loads dropped from 15 fps to 6 fps using sorted brass by weight. Oh, did I mention this is my hunting load using 165 gr Nolser Ballistic Tips? So all I can say is this is money well spent. My next investment will be in a Charge Master 1500 combo and just like all RCBS equipment, the quality is excellent and their customer service is great.

Very easy to convert your ...

Very easy to convert your trimmer over to a neck turner but not real easy to get the right adjustment. You will ruin a few cases in getting the perfect adjustment; however once it is adjusted it works with perfect precision on every case. It is fast and easy to use. I like the auto feed. Great product!

Nice tool works great but ...

Nice tool works great but I get better results without using the auto feed, it takes too much time to set it up with the auto feed. You can buy it without the feed.
