My friend gave me some of ...

My friend gave me some of these bullets for reloading back a few years ago.I quickly loaded up some for my super ruger redhawk(9.5 barrel)I am impressed by the accuracy these bullets deliver at 100 yards doing a little over 1400 fps with my 4x scope.I shot three 6 shot groups averaging 2.5 to 3.25 inches shooting off hand.That is outstanding for not using a rest I suprised myself(I am not a expert handgun marksman).Definately adequate performance for a handgun.The low price of these bullets is a huge bonus.I have not used them for hunting though.But they are excellent target bullets however.

They shoot pretty ...

They shoot pretty accurately out of my .44 but the jackets come off more often than not in all the media I shot them into. Too bad I bought 750 of them. I guess they'll have to go in the .44 special loads for plinking. Not a serious hunting bullet in my opinion.

I am shooting with a ...

I am shooting with a Ruger Redhawk 44 mag bought in the first year of production. I have never been really happy with the accuracy of this gun either with handloads or factory ammo. Though over the years I have taken both mule deer and whitetails with the gun, my inability to shoot smaller than a 5" group off a rest, with a 4X scope, at 100 yds, made me set the gun aside. Like many over the last 18 months I decided that I needed to load ammo for all my guns. This Nosler bullet was amazingly the best priced one around. When I received my first order I went to the bench and loaded this bullet to the same specs I'd always used for JHP bullets (296 powder and CCI primers). I also found a 100 rd box of handloads from 18 years ago. At the range off a solid front and rear sandbag support I fired a group with the old loads (only difference from the new loads was the bullet brand). Group was as expected, about 5" to 6" at 100 yds. I then loaded the new rounds and proceeded to shoot a 2" six shot group! Unbelievable! (chronograph showed old and new rounds' velocity virtually identical). I switched back and forth over the rest of the afternoon between the two boxes of bullets. The "old" loads never got tighter than 4.5" and the Nosler bullet loads NEVER exceeded 2.5 inches...with two Nosler groups under 1.25". It is like I have a new gun!!! I've just ordered 500 (two boxes) more of these bullets! I am extremely happy. I would not have believed that a bullet change (I'd tried them all, except Nosler, in past years) would make this gun shoot with this much improvement. Btw, my scoped 29 with the old loads shot about 3" groups and my Dan Wesson, 357 Maximum my primary hunting gun, will shoot 1.5" groups with handloads. So clearly the old performance of my Redhawk was disappointing. Now planning to take the Redhawk pig hunting later this year! And I was going to sell this gun!!!

Price is great, bullets ...

Price is great, bullets are great, I was going to start casting my own bullets; but at prices like these I can't afford to. I shoot targets with them, and save the 300 grain pills for the hunting. They work excellent out of my 8" 44 mag Raging Bull.

I've shot a couple of thousand of Nosler 185 bullets, with good results. Because of arthritis, I load most down with W-231, & also changed the recoil spring to suit the recoil.

First time to ever load ...

First time to ever load super Blackhawk hunter. Routinely obtain 6" group at 100yd with H110. Excellent bullet, looking forward to using it on whitetail in 2 weeks. I will be buying many more.

I really enjoy shooting ...

I really enjoy shooting Nosler 240 Gr. rounds. The quality of this round is generally very consistent. I found that the round performs well out to 50 yards, so far, shooting from a rest, I am able to group in 6" or less using my Ruger Redhawk in 7 1/2" with iron sights. I have had a trigger job, down to a crisp 3 Lbs, and have had the trigger and hammer area stoned. I am still new to the revolver game and am still working up a load, but I would highly recommend these for the price and quality alone.

I have used these bullets ...

I have used these bullets for a number of years. I shoot an 1894 in 44 Mag, and my father shoots an 1894 in 41 Mag. We both think that these are the best PCR bullets on the market today. The tapered jacket prevents the bullet from over expending. The LeverEvolution(c) bullets have a tendency to overexpand at very close range, and these will not. I bought my last lot of 500ct. just this week. Out of our Marlin 1894s we can keep a 10" or less group at 200yds using H-110.
