I have not used this particular tool as it arrived today. I purchased one from Midway about 18 years ago and I still use it today on both wood and metal, very durable, It has been a great tool! The picture of this item has USA on the handle just like the one I have had for may years. The one I received today does not and it was made in CHINA not the USA. If the Chinese one they are selling holds up half as well as the old USA made one it is well worth the money. I have never been fond of anything made in China. I only rated it with 3 stars because of that fact. I contacted General Tools Mfg, Inc. and this item now only made in China.

This product works very good. It maintains sharp cutting edges even on stainless steel. I would recommend this to a friend.
