I was a little concerned about the .5 watt LED at first. But this thing really throws out the light for its size. I work maintenance at night and a good flashlight that you can stick in your teeth is super handy. The light doesn't "Halo" like incandescent bulbs, the light is super white and almost the perfect compromise between flood and spot. I haven't dropped it yet (and hope I don't) but it seems really well constructed. Excellent light for the money.

The light worked great ...

The light worked great when I used it. For the size and money you really can't beat it. Let me explain the 3star rating.With the included batteries installed, I had not used the light in several months. Next time I used it I checked the batteries and they were stuck, they wouldn't come out. It seemed like the batteries had expanded or bloated. The end result was that I had to throw the light away because though I did finally get the first light out, the second one would not come out and was ruined in there.If you do get this light, do not use the batteries included.

I usually never write these reviews, but this little light is worth more than the cost I farm and this is an awesome light to stick in your pocket and light up what you need to see (no 100 yards but it's the size of a regular sharpie). What impressed me is I had the light on working lost it and plowed over it 2 days later its dark and I notice a flashing light it was this light and with new batteries shines new and good as ever that was 3 months ago ordering more now.

Very bright for its size, very handy. High quality and even came with an extra rubber tail cap button "cover" and a holster. This is a great size for carrying where I normally would hesitate with something bigger. Also, its a big plus to be able to buy batteries everywhere inexpensively. Will probably buy another for work soon.

For a lifetime warranty they fall behind. When this light dies, it dies and if its out of the 2 year window there's no coverage. This light is very nice and it puts out a lot of light for a pocket flashlight. I'm buying my fourth and besides the warranty I REALLY like this light.

StreamLight does it again. Very handy little light! Small enough to be carried in a shirt or pants pocket or even a purse for that matter. I like to reverse the clip and attach light to the bill of my hat when working on something. Runs on 2AAA batteries and the price is well worth it. I am going to buy a few more for gifts! Thanks Midway and thanks SteamLight for the great product.

TOUGH! This thing is a beast. I FOUND mine on the floor in an industrial laundry, after going through a wash and dry cycle in the BIG equipment. It is now silver as the color has been removed by the chemicals used to clean work clothes. Took it apart and blew it dry, added fresh batteries and game on. Carry it every day, and works like a charm!

This little light has been amazing for me. I have carried it daily for a year and have never had an issue. It was my first choice when it came time for me to pick a light for me to carry on a backpacking trip from France to Poland. I never had to change the batteries once. Small, light and bright.

I'm calling this my extended use review because this is my 2nd review for this product and I have been using it everyday for 2.5 years. This is a great little light with long battery life and a nice white semi-wide beam of light. It's also very bright for it's size. It's extremely rugged as I have dropped it probably about 1000 times, even from 20 or 30 feet onto concrete and it still works everytime you click the switch. I work in a power plant and clip this light to the inside of my shirt collar everyday and it's like it's not even there it's so small and light. It also seems to be sealed well as I have dropped it is all sorts of liquids and mud and always have to rinse it off under a hose, but it never gets water inside of it. It never fails when I need it that's for sure. I just wish they made it with a C4 LED. I would buy several if they did.

This little light will amaze you very bright well made, if i knew it was this good I would have purchased two. I am surprised Midway still has any left. If you try the Streamlight you won't be disappointed. I have seen small LED flashlights, but none like this one.
