BlackHawk's Magazine Pouches can be attached to your duty belt or dress belt. Pouches feature a unique built-in tension spring that keeps your magazines secured until they are needed.

Belt clip is removable, fits up to 1.75" wide belt

All of the CQC magazine pouches are made from a carbon-fiber composite material. If Carbon Fiber is listed in the description, it means that the outside surface has a carbon fiber appearance (the fibers are visible). Pouches that are listed as Black only are the same composite material but have a solid matte non-reflective finish.

This pouch works very well with the Beretta 92 mags. I wouldn't trust it if I were jumping from a plane, but it works perfect on the range and offers a fast reload. If it were adjustable for cant, I would have given it five stars, as it would make a perfect primary reload for IPSC, if it could be mounted horizontally near the belt buckle.

Great single magazine holder. Has a spring in it that retains the mag with enough force that it does not rattle. My one complaint is the hook on the belt clip, once you put it on -- goes on easy -- it's almost impossible to get off. Not only would I buy this again, I did: I now own two...

This product does what it should. It is large and bulky for concealed carry, but will do the job at the range and in the woods. It is loose on the belt because of the size of the clip. It should have adjustment like their holsters. Interesting how it can slide onto the shoulder rig. Nice piece of equipment

I agree in general with the other reviewers. For everyday carry on a civilian belt this mag carrier has a few deficiencies that have already been noted. Where it excels though is in competition. I use this mag carrier with the thicker Wilderness Tactical Frequent Flyer C.S.M. Instructor Belt (also available through Midway USA). On this belt there's none of the looseness that others have (rightly) complained about. The carrier is capable of being tilted slightly forward making it even easier to reach a magazine. Magazines are held firmly in place but slide out easily. I've not encountered the problem that Mr. Wenker did, having the lip of one magazine ride over another causing inadvertent deployment and dropping of a magazine from a second carrier. That may be due to the type of magazine. I use this carrier for the XDm 9mm magazine which doesn't have an overly pronounced lip at the bottom. I would be curious to know what magazines Mr. Wenker is using.

Quality is good and it does hold you magazine in (tried XD and CZ75 mags). I agree with the other reviewers in that the holster is way too thick because of the clip and it is also very loose. The clip has a slant (like a 7) so the gap for the belt is too wide at the top but nice and tight at the bottom. This design causes the holster to cant in different directions and point outwards at times making concealed carry difficult but range work is fine. If it weren't for the thick and loose clip, the pouch would be great. I would personally recommend the Blade Tech ones instead

looks and feels nice. But WAY too thick. Doesnt hold snug enough to body. I now use the factory glock mag holder...much tighter feel.

High quality ...

High quality construction, good retention, and an easy release when you grab the magazine. It's a really nice mag pouch; but there are a couple things that could be improved (IMO). For one, the pouch is too loose on the belt and shifts position (as in cant). This may be a function of belt width more than anything (there's no way to adjust the attachment for belt width), but not entirely. Another item for improvement--although perhaps related to the previous problem--is that if you carry two of these pouches next to each other on your belt, then when you index the front mag, the rear of its basepad slips underneath the lip of the rear magazine, and when you pull up to remove the mag from the pouch, the rear mag comes with it and ends up on the deck (this is assuming you carry your mags the standard way, with bullets pointing forward). You need the Dual Accessory Rail if you want to carry two mags. One big advantage I've discovered with this mag pouch is that you can rotate it 180 degrees and wear it as an IWB rig if you want. I doubt it was designed with that intent, but it works nonetheless. You just put the clip over both the pants and belt together. Except for the looseness on the belt, this is an exceptional product.
