The objective features a built-in sunshade and the sight comes with flip open lens caps. Red dot sights allow the shooter to aim and acquire a target faster. Bought this a couple of months ago from Midaway, and it has been an excellent product! I am using it on a Smith and Wesson 15-22 M&P. If my target is under the dot, I will hit it every time. I remove it every time I clean the rifle, and when I put it back on, it is usually dead on zero! (One time I had to give it a single click of windage). The only thing I have had an issue with is one of the flip up covers hinge pin vibrated out during use. I was able to put it back together and sealed the holes on the covers where the pins go in with epoxy, and now they stay in fine. Great product!

While I was impressed by the dual mounts, features, and construction, rather than a red or green dot, I have a red or green star burst. I have other red dot scopes that have real dots. As you would expect as the intensity is increased the starburst gets brighter. I will try to exchange. Hopefully a new one will have dots and I will seriously upgrade my rating.

I assumed from the item's description that both lenses were 38 mm. Wrong. The optic lens is only 26 mm. That is not mentioned.
It's like looking through a key hole to find a target. Returning tomorrow.

I got this sight for a .22 AR15. I have been very impressed with it for the amount it cost. It comes with 2 mounts for medium or low mounting, tools and also 2 batteries. I used the medium mount on a flat top AR15 and it lines up perfect for me. It was easy to zero, just make sure that you bring the wrench that it came with - it has locking adjustment turrets.

This seems like a good little red dot for the price. I like the mount but like stated before my mount quick attach had some rust on it. Nothing you can not touch up but really shouldn't have too. The quality is nice but the red is not as bright as the green. The red does dim from high to low well but the green doesn't have much dimming ability. The green dot is bigger than the red dot. Mounted easily and has a sturdy mount. Will see after some use how it holds up but my initial review is that it a nice red dot.

Seems to be very well built. The taller mount worked perfectly with my flat-top with standard front sight. Was easily zeroed and looks great. I also appreciate that it came with flip up lens covers, dual mounts and a lens cloth.

Very impressed with the quality for the price. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is one of the mounts had some rust on it. Fits great on my SR556

Excellent optic for the money, in fact I just ordered a second one. Adjustment was easy and it held zero after repeated shots through an AR Flattop. I removed the sight with the quick disconnect mount, put it back on and still maintained the zero.
