Good fit, easy install, used on two guns so far, drilled out rivet on front sling mount made a steel link pinned it in place, quick disconnect sling works great

I have one installed on one of my A1 Stocks and I plan on using this sling mount on my next AR build. Very good fit and the stub that goes into the stock is threaded. Thumbs Up.

I put one of these for my 308 AR which has a collapsible stock. Because it's not long enough It doesn't swing 180 degrees in the stock. It works fine for my purposes since I need it off to the side to make carrying the rifle in the field more comfortable. Didn't try it in the fixed stock, but looks like it's about right and still long enough to swing in the slot of the A1/A2 stock.

Works great. You can't see in the picture but the hole is threaded which keeps the bottom bolt on the butt plate securely fastened.

I looked all over the place for something like this. I even thought of welding up some myself. Then I e-mailed Larry P. and asked if he knew where I might get these, and he directed me to this product at Midway. It works, easy to install and is a great way to use a sling with the Uncle Mikes quick detach swivels on an AR-15 type rifle (assumes you have a similar stud on the barrel end). A little expensive for what it is, but easier than welding up some myself....
