Most shooters do not know that the barrels on Ruger 77/22s can be easily upgraded. Volquartsen Match Grade Barrels are made with Tension technology. The bores are hand lapped, which makes them very easy to clean and care for. All barrels are .920 diameter with a 1 in 16" twist, and are 16-1/4" long. 22 Long Rifle only.

Volquartsen advises that THM barrels should not be used with CCI Stinger ammunition
  • THM= Tension Honed Match
  • Specially tapered and honed match barrel and chamber

    Production Process:
  • Precision reamed
  • Button rifled
  • Air gauged
  • Hand lapped

  • Drop in barrel, no gunsmithing required
  • After aligning the exractor cut, it may be necessary to use a rubber mallet to fit the barrel to the receiver
  • Barrel has a .473" steel core tensioned between centers with a carbon fiber sleeve. Tension is set at the factory
  • Removing or tampering with end caps voids warranty
  • Do not use any metal items (bronze, brass or stainless steel) for cleaning
