The Midwest Industries SS-series customizable drop in handguard is a 2-piece light weight handguard for your AR-15. The generous lightening cuts give this handguard excellent ventilation, keeping your barrel cool during extended shooting sessions. Along with the vent cuts, there are five anti-rotation quick detach sling swivel socket. The handguard features a continuous top rail that extends over the delta ring to provide a continuous mounting surface for optics and accessories, as well as 3 customizable rail sections. The customizable sections can be placed anywhere along the handguard in the 3, 6, & 9 O'clock positions. There are two 3-slot, and one 7-slot customizable polymer rail sections and attachment hardware included, additional rail sections may be purchased separately. The top rail of the handguard is relieved on the inside to work with most aftermarket piston systems. Midwest Industries rail systems are 100% made in the USA and have a lifetime manufactures warrantee.
