Bullet Drop Compensator:

Scope comes with six elevation dials, five are pre-marked for common calibers from 223 Remington through 30-06 Springfield, one is blank for use with other calibers

Using one of the dials, scope is zeroed at 100 yards -- the markings on the dial will then allow the shooter to turn the dial up to the next target range and the crosshairs will be set for that range (allowing a dead-on hold)

A separate instruction booklet is included with the scope and lists calibers and loads for each of the dials as well as how to sight in and use the blank dial

I've put my Banner scope ...

I've put my Banner scope on a 30-06 to use with 180gr reloads. My most accurate reload was at 2670 fps and I used the "D" compensator dial. Using a ballistics trajectory program I determined what the bullet height would be at 100 yards when you wanted a zero at 200, 300 and 400 yards. I marked a target for those points and then fired a test. One shot at 100, then one each at 200, 300, 400 and back again to 100. Every shot hit exactly where it was supposed to. It doesn't get any better!

Great scope, clear optics, good light transmission. At first I had it on my AK 47, but the closes I could get set was for a 30-30, so I decided to put it on my Mini 14 and use the turret for that weight bullet I was shooting 63 gr, and it work without a flaw. great scope for the price and works as well as the more costly ones out there.

Great Scope! Easy to use! Just zero at 100 and the BDC Turret is awesome! Mounted on a .243 rifle and tested out to 300 yards and it is dead on!

A quality product and a tremendous rifle scope for the money! Its cost belies its brightness, clarity and construction. After some initial confusion with the Bullet Drop Compensator, dials, and instructions (my scope came with updated dials but old instructions), Bushnell Customer Service got me straight. After obtaining a tight 100-yard zero on my Savage 110 .30-06, I simply installed the appropriate BDC dial for the ammo I was using and headed for some BLM land for some long shots. With targets at 250 and 300 yards, all I had to do was dial in the range, aim center mass, and let them fly. Shooting from the prone off a bipod, round after round impacted in a 5.5" Shoot N C target. A few rounds missed, but just barely, and were never more than 4" from aiming point. I was stunned! I could never shoot that well by simply calculating holdover. And all I was using was standard Federal Power Shok ammo! Things will surely tighten up when I go to premium ammo. Don't let the price fool you...this scope really works as advertised!

I needed a inexpensive scope to put on an old 30.06, so a friend of mine could go hunting with it. I was surprised how good the bullet drop compensator worked. Super scope for the price.

Excellent scope, holds zero well on my .300 Wby Mag. The BDC can work with many different calibers and bullet weights. Smooth zoom ring rotation and repeatable adjustment turrets

Good looking scope for the money. Very bright. Mine came with no directions for assembling and using the Bullet Drop Compensator, though after a bit of searching, I found it on Bushnell's Website.

The banners are awesome sub $100 scopes and this one easily takes the cake. BDC elevation turret works great and the scope is super bright and clear. Use it on my Savage 110 and the groups are awesome. Scope looks great too. Not a mil-dot but at this price, who cares?
