Great bang for the buck - literally!

I have two. Bought the first and liked it so much that I couldn't pass up buying a second when they went on sale. I mounted one on a Remingtom 700 Tactical .308 and the other on an AR-15 .223. I killed my first-ever deer with the Remington recently after zeroing the rifle on a 100 yard range. I flushed a deer in the twilight and it ran off about 65 yards and stopped, turned, and looked back at me. I brought the rifle up in a standing position, sighted through the scope at 3x, and squeezed the trigger. THe shot went exactly where I aimed it. I find the scope easy to use and once set up on your rifle, easy to return to the same cheek weld and sight picture. The illuminated reticle is awesome and adjustable through many levels of brightness (or dimness, if you prefer). On the AR, it works well as a CQB sight at the 3x setting, and you can zoom out to 12x if you need more scope. I highly recommend this very versatile and flexible scope.

Wow impressed. I had high hopes for this scope and I was not disappointed. This scope just goes to show you that sometimes the, its too good to be true saying is wrong. This thing is loaded for a $200 scope the reticle is excellent and it's hollow mildots, the glass is very good similar to what you would find in a scope twice the price. Illumination has no flare when on highest level is bright and works well. The eye relief is adequate for an AR style rifle probably about 3.5" and stays fairly consistent throughout the magnification range. The turrets are a nice design I was surprised to see that they are "locking turrets" what that means is that you have to pull up on the turret to change your elevation or windage and push down to lock them in. Clearly audible clicks a little bit mushy but that's if compared to Leupold M1 turrets but better than Zeiss conquest turrets, that being said they are still very positive and great for a scope at this price point. 99 MOA of travel in the elevation turret. The only thing I don't like about the turrets is that if you don't pay attention you can get lost dialing the turrets no zero stop and nothing on turret to show you how far you've dialed. For the price you cant be too picky. Fit and finish is very good the matte coating is thin and about the only thing that gives away it's made in China. This scope is a great deal for a budget tactical rig or a long range hunter. Defiantly American engineered. I have several other scopes in many different price ranges and I think this thing is a steal. Home run weaver, I will buy more!

Surprisingly good clarity ...

Surprisingly good clarity for scope under three hundred dollars. The tactical ballistic-x reticle is designed for a 55gr .223 zeroed at 200yds. The scope was a tight fit in my rings compared to my friend's leupold, making me scratch it during installation. The eye relief is on the short side making the scope smack me on the forehead a few times on my .308 but it shouldn't be a problem on a .223. If you want something tacti-cool on a budget this scope is your best bet.
