Functions perfectly in my Remington 81. Using H335 I consistently get groups just under 1 inch at 100 yards. Thanks to Hornady for continuing to offer this bullet for 35 Remington fans.

I purchased these bullets for a flatter shooting load out of my 350 Rem Mag, for which they worked great. I thought that I would try them in my Mauser Custom 35 Whelen Ackley Improved. They were very accurate on paper. I had the chance this past deer season to try them out on deer. I shot a large whitetail doe at a measured 347 yards. She was facing me so I placed the crosshairs on the white spot on her neck and Wam! She never moved, she just slumped down on her knees! Terminal ballistics were awesome! People say that the 35's in any loading are at best a medium range bullet, I beg to differ!!

Used these for a CVA APEX rifle, 35 Whelan.Loaded near max with BL(C)-2; shoots 1" groups at 100 yards. Able to hit 8" balloons at 400 yards using a Nikon 3-9x40 ProStaff scope.Puts white tail deer down in a hurry! Thank you Hornady and MidwayUSA.

I loaded this bullet in my .358 Win BLR. It has decent accuracy with Varget @ 2350 fps. With a fixed 4X scope I can put all my bullets in about three inches at 100 yds. Recovered bullets were mushroomed past the cannelure, retaining about 50-60% mass. This is my woods gun, and no shots will be further than 80 yds.

I have had a 14" bull ...

I have had a 14" bull barrel for my T/C Contender for over 40 years and never hunted it. So this year, I have worked up a load of h-322, right out of Hornady's manual, and have now been sighting it in. I have shot many groups of less than an inch, and even some as small as 1/2 inch. The accuracy is unbelievable......now to see how it does on deer this fall.

Superb projectile. I consider it to be the best bullet for .356 GNR and .357 Maximum. I just participated in a 200yd Silhouette shoot and hit every chicken, turkey, pig and ram. This was done with a 10" T/C Contender in .356 GNR. Haven't tried it on game yet, but our firearm whitetail season is coming up soon, and judging from the "THWANG!" that resonated from the steel at 200 yd., these should be an instant drop.

When I first considered using this bullet, I called the folks at Hornady. My main concern was since this was a single shot pistol bullet if it would expand properly at rifle velocities. They assured me they would work fine. The "Single Shot Pistol" label was put on the bullets to keep people from using these in rifles with tubular magazines, and risking a chain reaction detonation with the recoil of the first shot.I shoot a .35 Remington Woodsmaster with the vertical stacking magazine, so these bullets were made for that type of rifle. They feed very nicely and shoot into less than 2 inch groups at 50 yards. I have not had a chance to use them on any game yet.

What a great deer and hog bullet. I shoot these out of a 14" .358 JDJ contender barrel. They are plenty accurate when seated on top of a load of RE. 7. The really neat thing is the expansion! Place one behind the shoulders of deer, hog and black bear and you will smile! It will slam them down hard! Exit holes are very large. On deer through the ribs expect about a tangerine size exit wound with lung and heart matter on the ground at impact site...simply devastating. One word of caution...shoot straight. If you hit meat, you will get jello big time. A hit in the guts with this load is an extreme mess!

I've used this bullet on and off for 14 years and taken 6 whitetails with it. My load has a MV of ~2200 fps out of a 15" pistol. 3 of the deer died in their tracks. The bullet has good penetration and can bust both shoulders. It's also extremely accurate. I hope Hornady keeps it in their product line now that there are no longer any .35 Rem. pistols in production.
