Uni-Cor construction bonds the jacket to the core for terrific uniformity, and eliminates the opening found on the base of other bullets. This heightened core-jacket integrity also aids in greater accuracy, more reliable expansion and greater weight retention. This is not loaded ammunition.

Multi-purpose bullet

Have used this bullet in a BP CVA Optima Pro. Results on deer have been great, haven't had a deer go more than 40 yards, always complete pass thru, and a blood trail you could follow from 10 feet away. 3 shot groups with bullets touching at 50 yards. (Crush Rib sabot, 100 gr volume Blackhorn 209, Fed 209). The only bullet I have shot from my ML for 5 yrs. I am going to try to load it in a 12ga slug load.

I have used these over the past 15 years in my .45 Blackhawk with excellent results. They are also more accurate in my Redhawk. The Speer 300 gr. psp has super stopping power and have stopped deer in their tracks on two occasions. I hope Speer keeps making this product as I have the greatest praise for this product.

Loaded these up for my ruger BlackHawk that Im planning on carrying this coming hunting season , they shot wonderfully and grouped good on paper. and they loaded very well in once shot brass, will be buying more once there back in stock great price

I use 300 Speer in my 45 Colt revolver and carbine. I used the carbine last winter to dispatch a moose I had downed with another rifle. I was firing from behind into the neck. At around 1600 fps the bullet entered the neck, traveled forward into the head and out the side of the lower jaw. Destruction was tremendous but the bullet left no fragments. That's a good bullet.

When I first got my Browning High Wall in 454 Casull, I tried all the 300 grain bullets that I could find. This one was by far the best in the bunch. Following the Speer manual I get the best 100 yard groups with H110 (five shots touching. From the 28 inch barrel I get 2200 fps, which makes this an easy 2oo yard gun for large species. The recoil in the heavy High Wall is fine, but maybe tough in a carbine. And it does open up, even at longer distances (slower velocities).

This bullet is by far the best bullet for large game in the BP Muzzleloaders. Although not a real scientific test, I fired many available bullets in the .451-.452" diameter out of my Savage 10ML-II using smokeless powder into mason sand at 100yds. The Speer bullets were the only bullets that did not come apart, shedding their jackets. All projectiles started out at 2225fps.

At the time Hodgdon introduced their Lil'gun powder I was looking for a new 45 Colt load combination. So tried this bullet with a powder charge in the low 18 grain area. The load has great karma. About 1100 fps from a contender and 1300 from a winchester carbine. Ragged just over 1" grps at 35 yds with the contender and 2" at 75 yds with the carbine. We had a problem with feral 50-75 lb feral dogs in my area, at least before this load. Also took a 130 lb whitetail broadside at 40 steps. Unfortunately I do not have any recovered bullets, the above game had nice entrance and big exit holes. This load/bullet just seem to work great together.

One damn tough bullet! I load this one ahead of H110, which is Speer's maximum suggested charge. Out of my 4-5/8 inch Blackhawk this bullet zips right through a lot of heavy stuff. I wouldn't hide behind a foot diameter oak with these babies singing about. Using nickel plated RP cases and the above charge, shells fall freely from my Blackhawk without even using the ejector, and that is in 100 degree weather. Mighty impressive performance for such apparently sedate pressure levels (in my gun, of course).

The best .454 Casull bullet I have found. Because the bullet has an electro-plated jacket (thick for plated), there is no jacket/core separation. Put whatever load you want to behind it; it will take it,but make sure your gun can first. It's accurate and hard hitting. Grizzly bears beware!!

I am using these in a Ruger chambered for a .45 Colt loaded to Speer manual specs. The accuracy is unbelievable. At 25 yards on paper offhand all 6 shots are in a group tight enough that each hole touches at least one other hole. If I try hunting with it, I will update this.
