The Evolution Gun Works picatinny rail gas block is a clamp-on style gas block with a rail for mounting iron sights. The EGW gas block is constructed of aluminum with a black hard coat anodized finish. The clamp on block eliminates the pressure point in the bore that is experienced with some set-screw gas blocks. The clamping mechanism evenly distributes the force around the barrel and does not affect the barrels accuracy.
