Good for the overall price but like the others said doesn't allow the safety to operate after insatllation. I had to take the grip back off and drill the hole for the detent spring deeper to allow for less tension on the safety detent. I guess if you want this style grip and can handle a slight modification I would buy it. My safety works fine after the slight modification.

I've had one of these on my ArmaLite AR15 Action Master for many years now. I'm a tall guy with long hands/fingers and it's really helped me to get a good grip. I recently added a Rite-Pull Grip Adaptor and, combined with this grip, "everything's just perfect" now! I can't recommend this grip too highly. It's durable and well made.

I installed this grip on a DPMS LR-308 and it fits like a glove. It has great construction, is very comfortable and lines up my trigger finger very nicely.

Thought this grip would look good on my Bushmaster Varmiter w/ a Leupold 6x20, Harris Bipod and a Magpul PRS w/ Accu Shot PRM Monopod(what a tack driver). What a joke! I installed it believing in the manufacturer, went to the range just to find the rifle won't come off safety. Had the tools to loosen it and put the selector on fire then tightened it up to shoot. Got home and found the spring hole not deep enough as compared to the Hogue grip it replaced. Drilled hole till the spring matched the Hogue grip, reinstalled only to find the selector now only works half way. I had a gut feeling before spending 20.00 on the Midway flyer for this grip that it would be hard to replace the feel and comfort of the Hogue. This grip is now in my junk to sell box.

Awesome grip. I saw someone say this grip is to heavy for tactical use. I disagree. Although i bought it for my target rifle. It is so light i could use it for my tactical ar 15. It weighs 5.8 oz or .33 lbs. Great buy and Great service all the way around.

I purchased this grip thinking it would be of good quality since it was made by DPMS and the great reviews that it had on it. I was so disappointed when I got it. It still had huge chunks of the plastic sprue still attached to it. I cleaned it up and installed it, just to be disappointed again. There was a 1/4 in gap in the rear and this is on a DPMS lower. I am extremely disappointed and will not recommend this grip to anyone.

Got one for my DPMS ...

Got one for my DPMS pattern Iron Ridge .308 lower. Grip fit on lower snuggly but as mentioned in other reviews it has a small gap between the spine (that rests on your thumb web) and the area of the receiver behind and above the trigger on .308 receivers. Not totally unsightly though. Needed to deepen the hole where the safety detent spring rests in order to prevent over compression of the spring which would result in lock-up of the safety. Did it in steps as not to drill the hole too deep and make the detent ineffective. Suggest temporarily removing the axle that the palm shelf rotates on to make installing the grip bolt easier. I added a wider washer to spread the load out over a larger area inside the grip. Grip feels great. Fills out my hand better. Would give 4 stars if DPMS included installation instructions and tips.

I like the grip . . . now. I had to grind the corners off the pistol guard to keep it from cutting into my finger. The rifle has a DPMS lower, so I thought they should fit well, but that was not the case. Now that I've made the mod, I love it. If the fit were right the first time, it would be an easy 5.
